Mint Room Studios currently has a Serene Winter setup that is the perfect location for a maternity or couple shoot.

This client booked a session last minute - at 38 weeks and about to be induced in 3 days. But she was SO glad she did. The photos turned out gorgeous and the location was the perfect setup for a maternity shoot in Toronto.

Our maternity session took place in the early hours of the day - which is my favorite for the soft diffused light.

I often get asked what's the best time for a maternity shoot, and while I usually suggest between 30-32 weeks, truth is it's never too late. You may feel uncomfortable at the end of your pregnancy but the photos will turn out gorgeous due to the big round belly.

The most important is: it's never too late to book your session. Do make sure to capture these moments!
