1- Keekaroo

Yes, a change pad. Specially if you're having a boy, this is essential.

Easy to clean and sanitize.

2 - Fisher price piano

I know. You want to avoid loud toys. But this is the exception! You will soon joy the cult of parents who are just as obsessed with this as their babies :)

It's so cute to see them kick it too!

3- Mamaroo

My baby loved this! For chilling while I grab lunch quickly, or try to vacuum the house. You will be so grateful for this.

4 - Ergobaby embrace

Best newborn carrier for me, hands down. To be honest I never tried Artipoppe so can't confirm nor deny the hype.

I miss being able to use this now that he's not a newborn anymore. Lasted until 5 months or so.

6 - Angelcare baby tub

I was so nervous about bathing baby. But this made it so much easier.

We're still using it at 9 months and baby is in the 90th percentile.

Best part? It's super affordable.

7 - Woolino sleep sacks

Made of Merino wool, which regulates their temperature. Meaning they will never be too cold or too hot.

It took away the guess work and it was so worth it! Baby is always the right temperature.

8 - Wipe warmer

Contrary to what many say - DO buy a wipe warmer! My baby was always so happy during diaper changes. I believe this is big part of the reason why.

Have you tried using a cold wipe when it's cold? Not fun.

9 - Ikea crib mattress

Great mattress and super affordable.

Our baby is a belly sleeper now, and this is a completely safe and breathable mattress.

10- Fridababy nosefrida & an electric nail file

The moment baby catches a cold, you will want to do your best to make them feel better. This is where the nosefrida is a lifesaver. Also bring an electric baby nail file with you to the hospital. I delivered at Mount Sinai in Toronto and my baby was born with such long and sharp nails, within a few hours his face was all scratched. The electric nail file is so easy to use and won't hurt your baby's delicate little fingers. When we got home that was the first thing we did - file his nails :)
